Premiere: Anja Schneider ‘Follow Me’

Anja Schneider will release her new ‘Run The City’ EP through her own ‘Sous’ label on Friday 19th October.

Following the release of ‘SoMe’, her first LP in nine years, in November 2017, Schneider will continue her musical re-invention this month with a three-track EP of rich, melodic tech-house.

Since Schneider’s announcement last year that she would be leaving Mobilee Records, the label she founded in 2005, in order to launch ‘Sous’, she has released that album, the ‘Prosperity’ EP in March this year as well as an EP from recent DJ Mag interviewee Francesca Lombardo.

The DJ Mag North America September 2017 cover star embraces her newfound freedom on this new EP, she says. “I finally finished my new studio,” she explains in an official press release. “Where I have enjoyed a lot of time this year, which lead to this release being very much an organic one. Music which feels like me and something I want to dance to.”

‘Follow Me’ the EP’s second track is testament to that organic process, with a heady groove  and airy, resonant melodies creeping on the periphery. Check it out below.
