Premiere: Asquith ‘NRG Mix’

Lobster Theremin founder Jimmy Asquith will release his second solo EP, ‘Never Alone’, via his new imprint on 30th November.

Maintaining the club-floor focus that defined his killer debut in August, ‘Never Alone’ borrows from years of experience in the scene and a veritable array of styles – from techno and house to UK bass, bleep and and garage.

The four-track EP is tailor-made for the dancefloor and nowhere is that more obvious than on ‘NRG Mix’, an incendiary and percussive cut with self-described “London-via-West Yorkshire influences”. With a smoked-out, rave stab lead and sporadic bass jolts, it’s a certified peaktime brawler. Check it out below.
