Big Miz will release a new EP next month.
The Dixon Avenue Basement James affiliate, who released his full-length LP ‘Build Destroy’ via the Glasgow-based label in 2018, returns with a four-tracker for Bristol’s legendary vinyl-only imprint, Shall Not Fade.
Joining the likes of DJ Boring, Kettama and Mall Grab on the label, Big Miz’s ‘Short Stories’ will drop on October 11th and is comprised of rhythmic, club-driven bangers.
With both the A-Sides and the B-side opener serving as straight-up, riotous dancefloor tools, Big Miz switches up the narrative on closer ‘Awake’. Building atmosphere with spiralling keys and progressive chords, the producer paints a hypnotising club soundscape that dissolves into its bubbling acid undertones.
