Black Cadmium will release a new EP, ‘Our Legacy’, this month via Vault Wax.
The Rotterdam duo, who have made a splash with their EPs on labels like Violet’s naive, DJ Pierre’s Acid Deep, Josh Wink’s Ovum and Carista's United Identities, deliver five cuts of acid techno and electro goodness on their latest outing, nodding to foundational Detroit sounds while bringing their own futuristic vibe to the plate. It marks the duo's second EP on Vault Wax, following 2020's 'Muted Chaos' four-tracker.
From the dazzling funk of the opening title track and cosmic keys of closer ‘Bohemian’, to the squelching techno heft of centrepiece ‘I Need You’, this EP is yet another prime example of a duo who are fast becoming a force to be reckoned with.
