Scuffed Recordings have had yet another killer year, which they’ll round off on 6th December with the third installment of their Scuffed Presents V/A series.
Following EPs from Fisky, Croft, Joe Craven and more, Scuffed Presents 003 features tracks from four artists we can expect to hear more from on the label in 2020: Dubrunner, An Avrin, Avernian and Young Muscle.
The EP opens with Leeds producer/DJ Dubrunner’s ‘Zoya’s Trip’. As founder of the Stretchy Dance Supply party, Dubrunner has become known for his taste in bass and breaks. Here, the mood is atmospheric and low, with nods to Detroit electro and dubstep tiptoeing into the mix. Check it out below.
