Premiere: Flaurese ‘No Other feat. Rosa’

London producer and DJ Flaurese will release his debut EP, ‘Sake Of Lust’, this week on Boston Bun’s Circa '99 label.

The two-tracker will be released this Friday 18th September, and is a satisfying dose of melodic house, full of gentle arpeggio swells and hazy atmospheres. Below, you can hear ‘No Other feat. Rosa’, the EPs buoyant and heartfelt B-side featuring vocals from Rosa. 

"[It was a] bit of a freak accident, we met through an old drama school mate, Rosa was really shy about her voice so I wrote and sung the lyrics as a template for her,” says Flaurese of the collaboration. “The tonal vulnerability immediately fitted the theme of the song. Even though the song was written in third person, it actually heavily related to a break up and all the mixed emotions that came as a result. Both of us could relate to wanting someone but also understanding the toxicity."

The release of Flaurse's debut EP follows a string of singles, and guest mixes on stations such as Rinse FM, Balamii and Reprezent.
