Brooklyn-based DJ, producer and live act Heidi Sabertooth will release her 'Ur Eyes Are Watching' EP via Lobster Theremin on 5th April.
Fast becoming known for her gritty, raw take on industrial techno and penchant for hardware-driven cuts, Sabertooth’s latest outing is a relentless selection of rough-and-ready club tracks that retain a hypnotic atmosphere amid their off-kilter ferocity and distortion. With as many nods to Autechre, Plaid and harsh noise acts as there are to techno progenitors, this is rapturous work from the emerging artist.
‘Makin Cuts’ is launches the EP’s B-side with a percussive EBM rattle and heavy, congested bass groove. It’s big. Check it out below.
