Warlock returns for his third outing as Hooverian Blur this month on Sneaker Social Club.

The London-based, Rag & Bone Records founder steps up with three rugged, ‘90s-inspired cuts with a futuristic edge. ‘Old Gold’ and ‘Eyes Closed’ have been much sought after online, ID’d ad nauseam in the comments for Ben UFO and Joy Orbison’s b2b from XOYO last year. Justifiably so, with both tracks offering driving breakbeats and rumbling, psychedelic bass and melodies.

In our review for DJ Mag’s latest print edition, we described ‘Old Gold’ as “essentially a homage to jungle classic ‘Valley Of The Shadows’ by Origin Unknown,” thanks to its “effervescent pads and blunt bassline”. It’s a stormer. Check it out below.

'Old Gold' is out on 28th February. Pre-order it here.
