Tokyo’s Hoshina Anniversary is next up on Volvox and John Barera’s ever-reliable techno and electro imprint Jack Dept.
Set for release in November, the ‘A Cid’ EP is a four-track serving of pure, no-nonsense, dancefloor heat. Opening with the intense and urgent title track, the EP doesn’t loosen its grip once. Distorted electro cut ‘DZYYY’ pummels the senses with its dense bass and drum clatter while the classic techno of ‘Vuvu’ should rattle the rib cages of Joey Beltram devotees the world over.
