Premiere: Jomari ‘Open Air’

Toronto’s Deviant Audio readies a stacked compilation of rugged dubstep and d&b. Hear the soaring bass manoeuvres on Jomari’s ‘Open Air’ now

Toronto DJ and producer Stranjah’s Deviant Audio label will release its debut compilation this month.

The 14-track collection, ‘DEVIATIONS’, is a perfect primer for the label, which, since 2016, has championed forward thinking d&b and bass-focussed club sounds from Canada, North America and beyond. Featuring tracks from Doctor Jeep, Metafloor, Johney, Stranjah himself and more, it’s a heady selection of weighty dubstep, febrile jungle and  half-time bass weight.

Jomari’s ‘Open Air’ is, as its title suggests, is expansive and exhilarating, with soaring bass and ambient synths weaving around its sturdy beat. Check it out below.

‘DEVIATIONS’ drops on 7th April. Pre-order it here
