Premiere: LYZZA 'Sleeve (LH Mix)'

London-based experimental artist LYZZA follows up her 2018 ‘IMPOSTER’ EP with a remix package. Listen to Laurel Halo’s dub-infused club rework of 'Sleeve' now

LYZZA will drop a remix EP later this month.

Fresh off the back of a performance at Boiler Room's DC-10 party, and a slot at Belgium's Pukkelpop festival alongside Avalon Emerson, Jayda G and Volvox, the purveyor of experimental electronics has readied a remix package for her 'IMPOSTER' EP.

Rleased in October last year, the EP featured five original tracks centered on "an externalization of LYZZA’s internal struggle, a determined fight to claim a place at the table with the knowledge that the system is not intended for her".

The remix EP, incoming on the 23rd August, features contributions from NTS resident Nkisi, Brazilian artist Badsista and Hyperdub mainstay, Laurel Halo.

Halo's remix of 'Sleeve' is a simmering, dub-infused club track, retaining flashes of LYZZA's unique vocal work and emphasising the already intense and driving drum pattern.
