Premiere: Mason Maynard 'All Over U'
Manchester's Mason Maynard will launch his new label Xscape this week with two-track EP 'All Over U'. Hear the low-slung bassline contrasted with sugary R&B samples on the title track now
Mason Maynard will launch his own imprint later this week.
The Manchester-based DJ and producer, who recently released his second record via Jamie Jones' Hot Creations imprint alongside General Levy, debuts his own label Xscape tomorrow (13th May) with a brand new EP.
Comprising of two dance cuts, 'All Over U' is brimming with chunky basslines, chopped vocal samples and synth stabs, garnering early support from the likes of Groove Armada, Stacey Pullen, Guti and Matthias Tanzmann.
On the title track, Maynard contrasts a sugary R&B sample against a churning, low-slung bassline, with the producer's signature wonky rhythms bubbling throughout.
