Superlux will launch their imprint next month.

The Superlux label and collective, founded by Wolf + Lamb affiliate Mike Gill, London veteran DJ Johnny Hunter, and  N-Gynn, who dropped an EP on Bobby Pleasure’s Pleasure Club last year, will launch with the release of ‘Enter The Superlux’ on the 4th September.

“Superlux is all about creating quality art, without taking ourselves too seriously,” the trio shared. “Our key defining factor is our chew-the-fat mentality with music as our foremost passion”.

With a mission to “throw out the rulebook, mash genres, and produce seminal tracks that will pick you up again and again,” the debut EP is infused with broken beats, sci-fi synth and ‘80s electro undertones, and comprises of two original productions from Superlux, with an additional track and remix from N-Gynn.

N-Gynn’s ‘Take One’ sits on a warped bassline, with echoing pads and dark vocal chops, emitting the dark-electro aura that resonates throughout the rest of the EP.
