Belfast club stalwart Phil Kieran will release his new EP, ‘World War Four’, this Thursday 4th October via his own label.

With over 20 years production and DJing experience, the Northern Irish artist has time and again proved himself as a vital talent in the country’s scene and further afield. Last year saw him venturing away from the club and composing for stage-play, East Belfast Boy. He also collaborated with the Ulster Orchestra and had tracks synched to hit BBC America drama ‘Killing Eve’.

On ‘World War Four’ Kieran’s sensibilities are very much back on the dancefloor though. Over the course of three fierce tracks, he showcases his ability to make techno sound utterly warped yet steady, cavernous and vast yet nonetheless precise.

Nowhere is this better evidenced than on the EP’s fierce opener, ‘World War Four (Part 1)’. Check it out below.

You’ll be able to get ‘World War Four’ via Beatport.
