Acid house pioneer DJ Pierre is celebrating 35 years of DJing with 35 remixes of ‘Acid Track’.

The iconic cut, produced by Pierre and the late Earl Smith Jr. AKA Spanky, is credited as being the first ever acid house track and, now, it’s getting a raft of reworkings by some of the most prolific producers on the circuit.

The first round of remixes came out in March, featuring work by KiNK, Bloody Mary and Paco Osuna. Now, volume two is en route, featuring five more reworks courtesy of Luciano, Carl Cox, Anfisa Letyago, Lorenzo Cheng and Najel Monteiro. You can hear Luciano’s deep, moody rework below.

More artists locked for the series include Posthuman, Kerri Chandler, Dubfire, Nastia and Carl Craig.
