Varg will release a “double EP” on Northern Electronics on 3rd May.
Comprised of two four-trackers – ‘Sky City: Even in the Heart of Heaven, Angels Can Still Feel Fear’ and ‘Sky City: A Weak Heart to Break (Spit)’ – the Swedish experimental techno outlier is on typically engulfing form here.
Ranging from dubbed out techno and sprawling noise to distorted trance and harrowing propulsion, it’s another intense offering from the mysterious producer with his penchant for marrying apocalyptic brutality with delicate, introspective melodies bursting through.
