Premiere: Violet ‘Infinite Source’

Mother’s Finest’s debut compilation, curated by Hodge and Franklin De Costa, lands next week. Hear the fast-paced breaks and a distinctive melody of Naive boss Violet’s ‘Infinite Source’ now

Violet's new track 'Infinite Source' drops next week via Mother's Finest.

The track is part of a 15-track compilation curated by Hodge and Franklin De Costa and will be the first release on their brand-new imprint, Mother’s Finest. As a collective, Mother’s Finest are best known for their weekend-long parties at Berlin’s Griessmühle, which sadly shut down recently. The first release on the Berlin imprint is a combination of twisted techno sounds, experimental melodies and melancholic d&b mutations. The compilation includes tracks from Hodge, Batu, Laurel Halo, Violet, and many more.

Violet’s contribution to the compilation, ‘Infinite Source’, follows the Portuguese producer’s signature experimental sound. With heavy, fast-paced breaks and a distinctive melody that runs through the track, ’Infinite Source’ finishes off the jam-packed compilation with a genre-defying bang.

Revisit our Recognise feature with Violet from April last year, where the Naive label boss discusses her music, Lisbon’s defiant underground and her unwavering determination and optimism.
