A Name Out of Place 2

This second release from Shanghai-based Tzusing picks up where the first instalment left off and takes its cues from EBM, industrial and new beat. In places it tries the listener’s patience — just listen to the ear-splitting tones of 'Khi-Tang' — but these are only minor distractions. ‘O.D.D’ revolves around a crunchy, hammering rhythm and standout track ‘4 Floors of Whores’ sees Tzusing lay down a brooding bass and the kind of oppressive groove that makes Front 242 sound like a bunch of bed-wetting softies.
