A Sad Wandering Dreamer Trapped In Contemporary Memory Architectures

Zooloft
Look beyond the daft title and it's clear that the Italian duo have got the Gothic techno sound down to a tee. 'Patterns Of Behaviour' is a wash of creaky, creepy ambience, while 'Theory Of Radical Structures' sees Gigli & Obtane deliver a similarly eerie moodscape, albeit over a pumping bassline. The mighty Orphx duo turn in a take on 'Structures' that combines lithe stepping rhythms and dark stabs. Misery rarely sounded so memorable.
