2 MANY DJS ADDED TO FREEZE'S LIVERPOOL SOUND CITY LINE-UP

Joined by Floating Points Live, Hot Chip and John Talabot

Belgian electro-rockers 2 Many DJs — who recently announced the release of a new Soulwax album — have been added to Liverpool’s Sound City line-up.

Alongside 2 Many DJs, there will be sets from Hot Chip, John Talabot and DJ Kose, as well as live performances from Floating Points, Henrik Schwarz and Innervisions dons Âme.

It’s the first time Liverpool’s Sound City has gone big on electronic music (it’s usually a well-established proving ground for up-and-coming bands) but this year they’ve joined forces with promoters Freeze for two days of forward-thinking house and techno on the banks of the Mersey.

Freeze's Rob Casson said: "Freeze are thrilled to be working with one of the UK’s most forward-thinking music festivals, and are especially excited to be bringing a new dimension to this year’s Sound City."

Freeze has built an impressive reputation for throwing parties in unusual settings, and when we say unusual, we mean unusual; one of their events last year was at a disused mental asylum.

Freeze will be setting up shop at the iconic Sound City Baltic Warehouse right on the banks of the river Mersey for both nights.

Sound City takes place on May 28th & 29th at the Liverpool Waters, Bramley-Moore Dock.

Single day festival tickets go on sale 9AM Monday 8th February for the limited price of £38 from www.liverpoolsoundcity.co.uk/lineup
