Includes Jlin, Machinedrum, The Nile Project, Susan Rogers and more...

Ahead of the full program announcement later this month, Ableton has revealed first names who will be shaping the third instalment of its popular music summit, Loop, which is aimed at producers, thinkers, educators and creative technologists.

This year's Loop summit will include genre-bending producer of the moment, Jlin, tape-destroying ambient hero William Basinski and New York clubbing collective Discwoman.

Launched by Ableton in 2015, Loop is three days of performances, talks, and interactive workshops aimed at exchanging ideas at the cutting edge of music, technology, and creative practice.

Keynote speakers for Loop's third edition include Berklee professor and Prince's audio engineer Susan Rogers.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to join studio sessions with Mandy Parnell, celebrated mastering engineer trusted by the likes of The XX, Aphex Twin, Bjork and Brian Eno.

Renowned electronic music producer, Machinedrum, will also be hosting studio sessions and discussing his creative process.

The first technology partners for this year's summit come in the form of LEAF Audio and Swedish innovators Teenage Engineering.

Ableton's Loop summit will take place at Berlin's Funkhaus between 10th — 12th November 2017.
