Adam Beyer drops a slice of lights-out techno for Soma’s 25th year on ‘Just Things’: Premiere

It lands on Soma Records’ 25th anniversary release next month...

Adam Beyer hits Soma Records on 31st March for their 25th anniversary release, ‘Soma25’, with a brand new track titled ‘Just Things’ . You can listen to the exclusive premiere of it below.

Soma Records was founded in Glasgow by Slam, Glenn Gibbons and Dave Clarke, and quickly became one of UK electronic music’s most well-respected labels through the release of classics like Slam’s ‘Positive Education’.

For ‘Soma25’, the imprint enlisted long-standing label associate Beyer, as well as Jeff Mills, Robert Hood, Steve Bicknell, Andrew Weatherall (appearing as Woodleigh Research Facility) and Blawan to provide brand new music.

To keep the future focus of the release, Soma also asked fast-rising techno artists including Kobosil, VRIL and Jonas Kopp to choose classic tracks from their back catalogue to remix.

On Beyer’s ‘Just Things’ from ‘Soma25’, the Drumcode boss provides a raw slice of lights-out techno that embodies exactly why the Swedish DJ/producer remains one of the biggest names on the global circuit.
