Alan Fitzpatrick will release a posthumous Trevino remix of his new single 'Magnetic Dog' this Friday.
The dance world was left shocked earlier this year with the passing of Marcus Julian Kaye, with a huge outpouring of support for both his productions under his drum and bass moniker Marcus Intalex and his house and techno alias, Trevino.
Before his untimely passing, Kaye remixed Alan Fitzpatrick's new single 'Magnetic Dog' in February and his family has now given Fitzpatrick permission to release the remix.
"I'm very thankful to Marcus' family for allowing me to proceed with releasing his remix," said Fitzpatrick in a statement sent to DJ Mag.
"Like everyone, I was deeply shocked to hear of Marcus' passing, but I'm hugely proud of the remix he made of Magnetic Dog and felt the best way to honour him was to share his fantastic work with the world".
Under his Trevino alias, Kaye created a superb downtempo and euphoric rework of the original.
Check out the original below and look out for the outstanding Trevino remix which is out this Friday (13th October).
