This interactive map shows the locations of Detroit's record stores

Ahead of this month's Record Store Day, Curbed Detroit has created a handy map out every single record shop in the city that sells vinyl.

Many of the shops featured on the interactive map will be hosting special Record Store Day events this weekend (Saturday 22nd April).

Wax addicts will find an extensive list of stores that stock everything from Detroit techno to R&B and everything in between.

Vinyl sales continue to surge worldwide with wax quickly becoming the must-have keepsake for music fans across the world.

Detroit's Third Man Records recently reopened its vinyl pressing plant in February off the back of the resurgence in vinyl sales.

One of the most interesting aspects of the Third Man Pressing plant is the ability to watch records being pressed from the viewing platform within the Third Man Record's Cass Corridor record shop.
