Amsterdam has a new club, Lofi

Midland, Rhadoo, Optimo and Avalon Emerson have already played the club

Amsterdam has a new club, Lofi, which opened on 17th October with a ZeeZout warehouse party as part of this year's ADE.

Located in the Sloterdijk district, it's the brainchild of Slapfunk's Nelson Yogh Niemel and Samuel Taselaar, founder of Nomads Festival.

Since the launch event — which saw the likes of Midland, Optimo and Avalon Emerson play — names such as Rhadoo, Tama Sumo and Prosumer have all visited the venue, with crews including VBX and FUSE hosting parties.

This is the latest in a stream of club openings to hit our pages, with Bristol's massive Area 404 and London's PhaseSpace289 and Orange Yard announced most recently. Sadly it's not all good news, though, with FOLD, also located in the UK capital, having its license suspended with immediate effect
