ANNIE MAC’S DOCUMENTARY ON CLUB CULTURE, WHO KILLED THE NIGHT, IS AVAILABLE NOW

Annie investigates...

Annie Mac's new mini-documentary on UK club culture is now available to stream via the BBC website.

The 30-minute special, titled Who Killed The Night, sees Annie investigate why the UK has lost over half its clubs in the last decade, alongisde chats with key industry figures like London’s Night Czar, Amy Lamé.

The show's synopsis also goes on to ask: “Is it property developers, the police or local councils who are contributing to the decline? Or is it simply the fact young people are changing the way they go about partying, with the advent of all-day parties, illegal raves and the internet?”

With the sudden closure of iconic Manchester club Sankeys last week, it seems an apt time for Annie to release the new show — you can watch a preview of Who Killed The Night below, and stream the show in full here.
