APHEX TWIN TO PLAY FIELD DAY 2017

We're not kidding!

Aphex Twin will headline London's Field Day in 2017.

The well-loved producer (real name: Richard D. James) will headline on Field Day's brand new second indoor main stage arena, The Barn, on Saturday 3rd June 2017 with a very rare two-hour set.

“It's truly amazing to have Aphex Twin headline Field Day, I've been listening to him since I was 16, he played and curated some of the first ever Eat Your Own Ears nights (the most memorable being a warehouse on Brick Lane that got closed down by the police!) so it's an incredible honour to have him play our brand new indoor monolithic second main stage arena," said Field Day co-founder, Tom Baker.

"It will be a phenomenal, mind blowing, mesmerisingly, fantastic two hours of absolute genius....AFX WOW."

Now in it's 11th year, the festival has previously welcomed acts as diverse as PJ Harvey, Caribou, Skepta, Patti Smith and The Pixies.

Field Day 2017 takes place on Saturday 3rd June with tickets on sale from 1st December.
