Apple Music and Maps launch city specific music guides

Find local concerts and set lists from your favourite artists

Apple Music Guides

Apple Music and Maps have launched a series of city-specific music guides.

Curated by Apple Music editors, Apple Music Guides highlight live music events in a number of cities around the world while also allowing you to check out local venues’ upcoming shows directly from Maps through Shazam’s concert discovery modules.

Over 40 cities are featured in the guides, including Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, Nashville, New York City, San Francisco, Berlin, London, Paris, Vienna, Tokyo, Melbourne, Sydney and Mexico City. Find your nearest guide here.

In addition, Apple's new Set Lists feature enables fans to get their hands on set lists and read about the productions behind their favourite artists' shows while exploring their catalogue. Set Lists is available here.

Last month, Apple announced their plan to use 100 percent recycled cobalt in all of its batteries while stating their intention to use "entirely recycled rare earth elements" in magnets for Apple devices, something which was first introduced in the Taptic Engine of iPhone 11.

The tech giant is also reportedly working on a new M3-powered iMac. According to a report from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple have set the wheels in motion for its new line of laptops and desktops, which could yield a new M3-powered 13" MacBook Air in June and an M3-powered iMac later this year.
