Apple is in the midst of negotiations to take over Tidal, the streaming service owned by hip-hop mogul Jay Z.
According to a report published in the Wall Street Journal, the technology giant is aiming to boost its own Apple Music service with the aquisition, as Tidal has exclusive rights to work from artists such as Beyoncé, Kanye West and Prince.
A source "familiar with the matter" claims “the talks are still ongoing and may not result in a deal.”
