Aquarian announces debut album on Bedouin, 'The Snake That Eats Itself’

The album will be released early next year

Aquarian has announced his debut album.

The Berlin-based producer, who is also one half of Houndstooth affiliated duo AQXDM, will release his first album via Bedouin, where he joins Eartaker, Tzusing, Zomby, and more.

'The Snake That Eats Itself' will feature 10 tracks, and is described in the press release as Aquarian's "most complex, diverse and emotive work to date". The album also marks the producer's first solo material since his experimental EP for Quiet Time in 2016.

Drawing influence from industrial, IDM, drone and dark pop music, Aquarian's full-length debut will also be released alongside a collaborative live A/V show with Sougwen Chung.

'The Snake That Eats Itself' will be released on the 14th February 2020. Check out the trailer below, which features the first track from the album, 'Hate Is A Strong Word, Pt. 1'.
