ARMIN VAN BUUREN REVEALS THE STORY BEHIND ‘FLASHLIGHT’

Armin’s Ørjan Nilsen collaboration has formed a big part of his current show...

Armin van Buuren and Ørjan Nilsen dropped their collaborative track ‘Flashlight’ on the former’s ‘A State Of Trance, Ibiza 2016’ compilation earlier this year, before it was given a full release via Armada on Friday 25th November.

The track has formed a big part of Armin’s current tour, being paired with a solo dance performance that utilises pyrotechnics and crowd interaction.

Now, Armin has shared the story behind the ‘Flashlight’ performance in short video. You can watch the clip below.

van Buuren celebrates two decades of touring next year, and to mark the occasion he announced his biggest ever show, which will take place at Amsterdam Arena on Saturday 13th May 2017.

Armin van Buuren also compiled a 70 track playlist on Spotify in September, titled ‘Who’s Afraid Of 138?!’, which was billed as a “playlist for die-hard trance fans”.
