Aroop Roy delivers irresistible grooves with 'Talkin Bout Life': Premiere

Aroop Roy makes his debut on London label House Of Disco this month with the three-track 'Talkin Bout Life' EP.

Dropping work that ranges in influence between disco, jazz, house and Afro and Latin styles, Roy's been making waves with records for Basic Fingers, G.A.M.M. and Freestyle Records — the latter of which released his 2010 album 'Nomadic Soul', and a subsequent remixes version the following year.

The UK producer's latest finds him on a funky disco tip, the title-track in particular is a upbeat slice of summery goodness, complete with an earworm guitar lick, catchy vocal and buckets of groove.

'Talkin Bout Life' is out on vinyl now via Juno and Phonica, and drops digitally on 10th April. Check out the a-side in full below.
