After a split with manager, Ash Pournouri...

Avicii is slated to release a new album in 2017, according to a representative from Avicii’s team in a statement to Billboard Magazine.

The rep also confirms Avicii’s split from long-time manager Ash Pournouri, stating, “2x Grammy-nominated songwriter/producer Tim Bergling and his production/publishing entity Avicii Music AB have parted ways with manager Ash Pournouri, At Night Management. Bergling is signed to Universal Music Sweden and is expected to release an album next year.”

In March, Avicii in a post via his website announced that he would be retiring from touring.

He played his final live gig at Ushuaïa Ibiza on 28th August 2016.

Avicii’s forthcoming album for 2017 is a follow-up to 2015’s ‘Stories’.
