Avicii launches remix competition for ‘Without You’
In partnership with Geffen Records...
Avicii is challenging producers across the globe to cut the best remix of ‘Without You’ featuring Sandro Cavazza. The winner will see the remix released via Geffen Records.
The contest is open to participants worldwide. However, only one submission per participant is allowed and the remix must not contain any unauthorized samples or other copyrighted material.
The winning submission will be officially released via Geffen and featured on the DJcity blog. The winner is set to receive a $5,000 ($US) cash prize.
The stems are already being shared. All submissions must be received by 8th September at 11:59pm PST for consideration.
Participants are asked to upload the song to YouTube with the official contest cover art (included with stems) and drop the link in the official submission box.
Avicii’s new EP ‘Avīci’ can be streamed in full here. The producer recently dropped a video for ‘Lonely Together’ featuring Rita Ora as well.
Remix producers should also stay up-to-date with Dubset and its ongoing partnership development with the major record labels.
