Avicii shares video for 'Lonely Together' featuring Rita Ora: Watch

His new EP is out now...

Swedish EDM star Avicii has shared the video for his track 'Lonely Together', which features Rita Ora on vocals.

The five-track EP, 'AVĪCI’, is the first piece of music from the Swedish DJ and producer since he decided to retire from performing live.

The EP features collaborations with AlunaGeorge ('What Would I Change It To’), Billy Raffoul (‘You Be Love’) and Vargas & Lagola (‘Friend Of Mine’), as well as Sandro Cavazza, who contributed vocals to the release’s first single ‘Without You’.

Sonically, 'Lonely Together' sees the Swedish producer stepping away from the usual big-room EDM tropes for a track that's a little more considered than you might expect, falling somewhere between EDM and pop.

Avicii will release a documentary next month which will explore the highs and lows of his career so far.

Featuring appearances by fellow stars, including such as Chris Martin, Nile Rodgers, David Guetta and Wyclef Jean, Avicii: True Stories is a cautionary tale that explores the trials and tribulations of fame from the artist's point of view.

The documentary's director, Leven Tsikurishvili, said: "I wanted to do a brutally honest film about Tim as a person and not only about Avicii. Everybody knows Avicii but very few people know Tim.

"I think this documentary really shows Tim’s struggle and strength of character. Being a worldwide superstar artist is not as easy as it looks on Instagram."
