Before his sudden passing in April, Avicii recorded an album's worth of unreleased music with Nile Rodgers.

Having worked with the Chic main and producer on the 2013 single 'Lay Me Down', the much-missed Tim Bergling teamed up with Rodgers to record ten tracks across numerous sessions before his death.

Although Rodgers is uncertain of what will happen with the "extraordinary" recordings, he told the Sun, “I want to make sure that whatever work I do would be to the benefit of the people Tim would want that project to benefit.”

In case you missed it, 66-year-old Rodgers was our cover star in last month's DJ Mag #585. Read the feature - in which Rodgers speaks of his relationship with Avicii - here.

Last month, it was revealed that a prized piano belonging to to Avicii is being displayed in a Swedish museum.
