Avicii's 'Wake Me Up' is the highest charting dance track of the decade

The late artist's legacy continues

Avicii's 'Wake Me Up' has been named as the highest charting dance track of the decade.

The track, released by the late producer in 2013 and featuring vocals from Aloe Blacc, sits at No. 13 in the 100-strong list from the official UK Singles Chart, which also includes four tracks from Calvin Harris.

Elsewhere in the list, David Guetta's collaborative effort with Sia from 2011, 'Titanium', appeared in the top 50, alongside Daft Punk, The Chainsmokers, and Major Lazer.

A one-off tribute concert in aid of mental health awareness took place in Stockholm last week, and was broadcast globally. Organised by the Tim Bergling Foundation, 19 of Avicii's collaborators teamed up with a 30-piece band for the performance.

The tribute concert version of Avicii's 'Fades Away' was officially released this week.
