AWAKENINGS FESTIVAL CELEBRATES 20TH ANNIVERSARY IN 2017

In 2017 Dutch techno festival Awakenings will celebrate its 20th anniversary, with festivities set to take place from Thursday 13th April through Sunday 16th April next year.
Unique to the former years is the launch of a new day program that will be organized at the Gashouder on the Westergasfabriek terrain in Amsterdam — Awakenings 2017 will host five massive parties representing countless hours of partying.
Additionally, Monumental Productions together with publisher Mary Go Wild will release an anniversary book entitled AWAKENINGS: 20 Years of Techno. The 500-page coffee table book contains the history of Awakenings plus current affairs as told in over 50 interviews with some of the industry’s leading DJ/producers, think: Maceo Plex, Jeff Mills, Derrick May, Joris Voorn, Joseph Capriati, Nicole Moudaber, Adam Beyer, Secret Cinema, Pan Pot, Len Faki, Ben Klock and Alan Fitzpatrick among others.
