Panorama Bar, Berghain’s smaller space, has installed a new soundsystem.
German-based and relatively unknown hi-fi company, Studt-Akustik, are responsible for the new system, which differs to techno Mecca Berghain’s Funktion-One system in that it has been developed specifically for the smaller space.
The custom system features a 4-point linear array with six additional high-performance subwoofers, allowing for vertical stackability. It has also been built to adapt to the non-uniform aspects of Panorama Bar, which is made up of glass, concrete and tiles, meaning there will be no distortion in sound.
