Björk reveals title of upcoming Arca co-produced album
The announcement coincides with release of ‘The Gate’...
Björk revealed today (15th September) that her upcoming Arca co-produced album will be entitled ‘Utopia’. The album will be available this November via One Little Indian Records.
“I think it’s going to be called ‘Utopia’. I can’t think of anything better,” she noted during a Nowness Facebook live stream.
The Icelandic songstress did hint that there is a small chance the name could be altered ahead of its official release: "Well if I change my mind five minutes before the LP cover goes into print – that might happen.”
Whereas her 2015 album ‘Vulnicura’ (also co-produced by Arca) was likened to “hell” and “divorce”, “paradise” and “love” are central themes to the forthcoming LP.
The album’s lead single ‘The Gate’ was made available today. That can be streamed below via Spotify.
