Boudica launches callout for emerging trans+, non-binary and female producers to feature on new compilation

London-based label platform, collective and music conference Boudica has issued a callout for trans+, non-binary and female producers to share their music with the potential opportunity of it featuring on an upcoming record.

The label is set to put out a vinyl and digital release featuring tracks by Animistic Beliefs, Jasmine Infiniti, Métraph and a producer who submits their track to the label. The selected artist will have their song feature on the record, receive a £500 payment towards the writing of the song, be given a copy of the vinyl record, and receive one-hour online mentoring sessions by Animistic Beliefs, Jasmine Infiniti, Métaraph and Boudica founder Samantha Togni.

Boudica asks that the track be electronic music-based, and be submitted as a -6db premaster. The label is also asking each producer to submit a short introduction about themselves, including any information about past releases if they have any, as well as a link to any social media. The number of followers on their social media accounts, the label says, does not matter.

Entries are open until 29th June and should be emailed to [email protected]. Find more information below.

Last month, Boudica put out a similar release with a number of producers featured, including the Yazzus track, 'Grand Theft Audio' which DJ Mag premiered. This followed a release the previous year, from which DJ Mag premiered a track by Wanton Witch
