Burial classics soundtrack Burberry Autumn / Winter 2023 runway show

Several tracks by Burial soundtracked Burberry's Autumn / Winter 2023 runway show earlier this week.

Taking place at London's Kennington Park as part of this year's London Fashion Week, five tracks by the influential UK producer - 'Truant,' 'Homeless,' 'Young Death,' 'Exokind,' and 'Shell Of Light' - provided the music for the new show.

Doubling up as the first outing for Burberry's new chief creative officer, Yorkshire-born designer Daniel Lee, the music soundtracked his new AW23 collection. Check out the show below.

The event, which took place on Monday, 20th February, took place a couple of weeks after EL-B digitally released his collaborative track with Burial, which was originally produced in 2009. Back in October, Burial surprise-released a new EP, 'Streetlands'.

Burial isn't the first electronic artist to soundtrack runway shows in recent years. Last year, Richie Hawtin debuted new Plastikman music at a Prada fashion show. A few months later, Moodymann soundtracked a Bottega Veneta fashion show in Detroit.
