Burning Man: This is how much it really costs to go

Hint: it isn't cheap

Burning Man takes place again later this month in Nevada's Black Rock Desert from 27th August to 4th September.

Built on a philosophy of self-reliance and decommodification, the nine-day event is a experiment of sustainability.

But the question on many first-time Burners lips is simple: how much does it really cost to go?

Fortunately, the folks over at Time Magazine’s Money have worked that out.

Check out their full breakdown of a four-day trip to the event below, and watch Major Lazer’s sunset set from last year to get you in the mood.
