Calvin Harris tops list of UK’s most played tracks of 2019

Mabel and Sam Smith also featured in the top 10

Calvin Harris has topped list of UK’s most played tracks of 2019.

UK licensing company PPL, who track radio broadcasts and TV stations in public places, have released their figures for last year, with Calvin Harris serving as the number one most-played track for his collaborative effort 'Giant' alongside Rag N Bone Man.

Behind Harris, Mark Ronson & Miley Cyrus' 'Nothing Breaks Like A Heart' and Sam Smith & Normani's 'Dancing With A Stranger' made up the 2019 top three.

PPL also tracked the top 10 artists, where the Scottish DJ and producer took second place behind Ed Sheeran.

Calvin Harris will make his debut on Defected Records next month alongside The Internet's Steve Lacy.
