Carl Cox and Amelie Lens are heading to Boomtown’s new techno district next year

Four Tet and Ben UFO are also lined up to play...

Next year’s edition of Boomtown will see the introduction of a new stage dedicated to techno and electronic music.

Area 404 is the newest of the festival’s 14 districts and will feature headline sets from Carl Cox, Amelie Lens and Four Tet.

Also confirmed to play are Ben UFO b2b Joy Orbison, Eats Everything, Mall Grab, Skream, Dense & Pika, Claude VonStroke, Erol Alkan b2b Boys Noize, La Fleur b2b B.Traits, Sama’ and Enrico Sanguiliano. 

Drumcode and Bugged Out! have been enlisted to curate the line-up on the stage on the Friday and Sunday of the festival respectively. 

Next year’s edition of Boomtown takes place from 7th to 11th August. Find more information here and check a teaser for the new area below.

Amelie Lens last month released a new EP on her own Lenkse label featuring acid track ‘Never The Same’, while Carl Cox, earlier this month, launched a new branded merchandise clothing line.
