The Chainsmokers set record for most YouTube plays in one day

The Chainsmokers have beaten the record for the most YouTube plays in 24 hours.
Their latest single 'Something Just Like This' — a collaboration with UK pop-rockers, Coldplay — rocketed to over 9 million views when it went live on the platform on 22nd February.
The previous record was 8.2 million, set by Justin Bieber in August 2015 with his single 'What Do You Mean?'.
'Something Just Like This' has since wracked up over 45 million plays on YouTube. The track is the second release from The Chainsmokers' forthcoming album, 'Memories... Do Not Open', set for release 7th April.
