Charlotte de Witte announces series of VR performances with Sensorium Galaxy

The Belgian techno titan will perform inside the virtual PRISM space

Charlotte de Witte has announced a series of VR performances with Sensorium Galaxy.

The Belgian DJ, producer and KNTXT label boss is set to perform inside Sensorium Galaxy’s PRISM, a virtual destination for music events inside a larger immersive metaverse, adding to a string of previously-announced names including Carl Cox, Black Coffee, David Guetta, and most recently, Eric Prydz.

“Whether DJ’ing or producing, I am always searching for new ways to use my creativity and tap into deeper layers of emotion in electronic music," de Witte says. "I want people to remember the experience after the lights go down. Working with Sensorium Galaxy is a great opportunity to deliver a completely new kind of show with the same passion I try to bring to all my IRL concerts.”

PRISM has been created in collaboration with Ushuaïa Ibiza and Hï Ibiza's Yann Pissenem, who says in a press release that “having Charlotte de Witte on board is an exciting addition to PRISM. Over the last few years she’s become a force to be reckoned with on the international stage, instantly recognisable for her unique sound and dynamic live performances. I’m looking forward to seeing what she brings to the virtual stage and how fans will respond to this new experience.”

No specific dates have been revealed for de Witte's performances yet, but you can keep up to date via the Sensorium Galaxy website here.
