The Chemical Brothers, Flume, Skrillex & Boys Noize, more nominated for Grammys in dance categories

Bonobo also made the shortlist

This nominees for the 2020 Grammy Awards have been announced.

Among the categories, of which there are over 50, the five nominees up for both Best Dance Recording, and Best Dance/Electronic Album, have been named in The Grammy's list shared today.

Bonobo is up for Best Dance Recording with 'Linked', alongside The Chemical Brothers' 'Got To Keep On', and Italian production trio Meduza, for their collaborative effort with Goodboys. Rüfüs Du Sol is also up for the award with 'Underwater', as are Skrillex & Boys Noize for 'Midnight Hour', which features rapper Ty Dolla $ign.

The Best Dance/Electronic Album category features some favourites from throughout the year, with The Chemical Brothers' 'No Geography' and Australian bass star Flume's 'Hi This Is Flume (Mixtape)' appearing in the list. Apparat's 'LP5' also made the cut, along with Rüfüs Du Sol with their album 'Solace', and Tycho's 'Weather'.

Earlier this month, BBC Radio 6 broadcast a weekend of shows celebrating 20 years since The Chemical Brothers' album, 'Surrender'.

Flume dropped his last single 'Rushing Back', featuring vocalist Vera Blue, in September.
