CRAIG DAVID & BIG NARSTIE TEAM UP ON ‘WHEN THE BASSLINE DROPS’

Essential listening from the grime and garage heavyweights!

The Craig David comeback is officially here, and he keeps bringing the fire. The UK garage don (check out our recent quickfire Q&A with him) famously freestyled over ‘Where Are Ü Now’, also dropping into Kurupt FM’s stint on 1Xtra’s #SixtyMinutesLive where grime’s agony uncle Big Narstie was chilling.

The pair seemed to have a connection, and have just dropped a brand new collaboration which was premiered by Mistajam on 1Xtra. With nostalgic UKG production underneath a powerful verse from Narstie, it’s seriously good - and is getting a release from SpeakerBox/JEM soon.

Writing on his Facebook, Craig gushed: “I am back in that 16 year old kid mode, hungry, passionate & making music that i would want to bump in my ride & dance to ! I'm following my intuition and 100% back in my lane!”

#BASE.

In other Craig David news, this remix of ‘Fill Me In’ with some Palms Trax acid fire has surfaced, which is actually brilliant:
