Dark Entries to release newly uncovered Patrick Cowley music, ‘Mechanical Fantasy Box’

The album will comprise of 13 tracks

Dark Entries are set to release uncovered music from Patrick Cowley.

San Francisco label Dark Entries has overseen a number of reissues from the late producer, including compilations of the gay porn soundtracks he produced in the '70s.

'Mechanical Fantasy Box' will comprise of 13 unreleased songs recorded between 1973 and 1980, and will be released both digitally and as a special double-vinyl LP. The collection will be available alongside a book featuring excerpts from Cowley's journal, and all proceeds from the album will be donated to the San Francisco AIDS Foundation.

The announcement follows the discovery of 40 reels of unheard music produced by Patrick Cowley in an attic earlier this year.

'Mechanical Fantasy Box' will be released on the 19th October. Pre-order the album here.
